The Misconceptions and Advantages of TAI SOLARIN UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION

Since the birth of the first university in the world the planet Earth and particularly Nigeria has been waiting for a university cum education,for a long they waited for a school with not only a tag called university but a school that adds education as a major criterion in its programme and which better year could it have been if not 2005 when the erstwhile governor of Ogun state Otunba Gbenga Daniel proclaimed the former Tai Solarin college of Education as Tai Solarin university university of Education

    The world  stood still, tongues wailed, there were cries of joy from the educators that alas a citadel of leaning will be created for Nigerians and Ogun citizens to compete with the students of the World as they are fast outshining Nigerians in the Educational field.

    The naysayers and Bad belle (like its been said in our local parlance) were the ones to have spoken first as they gave negative reactions to the development. Remarks like "its only a matter of time before we see the downfall ","its rubbish creating a new university while others are left to rot".

 Its 2011 and already been regarded as one of the fastest growing university in the west some jambites,admission seekers and some Nigerians have perceived it wrongly

                                           THE MISCONCEPTION

the major perception about the school is the name "OF EDUCATION" as people think its only for educational courses only,another misconception is the certificate the student will be given once he graduates from this great school as its popularly said to be  B.Ed. the mismanagement of the school is said to be another issue as people sadly says it's neglected,the teacher training exercise is also known to be the only programme students partake in Student training experience

                                 THE REALITY AND ADVANTAGES

 Tai Solarin University of Education is the first university in Nigeria to have ever given Graduating students with double certificates meaning students of this great school

are awarded "B.Sc(B.Ed).meaning science students are opportuned to choose between the two in the future

 The management of the school can also be argued to be one of the best in the country as being one of the first to embark on "public/private participation".

 The students also have vast experience in second year by having the industrial Experience  and in the final year they partake in Teacher Trainiing programme

 This are some of the reasons why Tai Solarin University of Education is rated among the best in Rapid growth as people like Otunba Adebutuu Keshington, Chief Alex Onabanjo,Chief Otedola have vested into the school.

     The association of University of education couldn't have chosen another head quarter if not TASUED for bringing back to life Education and for being role model for universities such as The University of Education Ikere Ekiti,Adeyemi University of Education ,Alvan Ikoku University of Education and so many others .They publicly attested that they have alot to to learn from Tai solarin University of education..The first university of Education in Nigeria,the second in Africa and the eight in the World.

 Little wonder the university of education Winneba in Ghana had to partner with the great school for the progress of education in Africa.The dead Heroes of education would be smiling in Heaven celebrating the milestone achieved in seeing to the progress of the agitation they championed while they were alive.

RALIO, whose real name is Awonuga Rasaq Olakunle, Ijebu born and bred versatile rapper. A dancer turned-rapper, he attended Ijebu-Ode Muslim College. There we was popularly known all round Ijebu-Ode as one of the prominent dancers along side Alakija (in Nunu milk advert). He finished his secondary school education in 2007 and presently studying Mathematics in Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu- Ode. In 2010, Ralio came up with some friends Breezy & Debolz and they formed a crew which they called F-CUBE (meaning Fresh, Fine and Fly). Later on (2011),  F-cube became a record label, and was renamed F-cube entertainment. Ralio is currently an artiste and Music producer under F-Cube Entertainment along side Breezy, Debolz and Lil Don. He has been around the music corner for a while now, done quite a lot of collaborations. Amongst 're (Nonillionaire with Samklef, Mo ti dade remix with Prolifix, various mixtapes with Taleen, Breezy, Gabi Allstars, and host of others). He stormed the industry with the hit song "Takin' ova" (2009), after which he gained much fame and recognition. Other major hits include Dagboru (2010), RALIO (2011), Why I did feat. Taleen (2012) hence, he's been on a good number of songs. Ralio is inspired by the likes of Kanye West, MI & TI... He is currently rocking the #1 spot on www.reverbnation.com (Ogun State). A close source has gathered that the rap act is planning a concert of his own which he tagged RALIO XCLUSIVE. Anyways, fingers crossed!

MC Solex marks birthday on Lowkey

• Olusola Adebajo, popularly known as Mc Solex, a student of Tai Solarin University of Education, Accounting Dept. 300L, marked his birthday on a lowkey with close friends & social associates. In attendance were, Jadex (TASUED SUG Social Director), Breezy (President TASUED artistes), MC Jobe (President of TASUED MCs & Comedians) KlinSoul (Ex COSITSA social director), Slimzz (Ex NUESA Social director), Woldezzy (Publisher, TGG), and other distinguished well wishers.. They were all hosted at the celebrant's residence (Ijebu-Ode). The parlor gathering was also spiced up with an acapella performance by Breezy and its was brought to abrupt end at around 8pm.

Habeeb, whose stage name is Bibinson, is the new guy in the music block, As he's currently stirring the industry with his party track "Go down Low" produced by Dollarsign. He's presently a first year student of Tai Solarin University Of Education, studying History & Diplomatic Studies.

Olaide Ibrahim, one of  TASUED's young talented artistes known as Breezy, has stormed  the music arena once again. But this time, a big different from his usual R n'B... Its a remix of Ralio's Dagboru. Produced by TM, also featuring Ralio.

The debut album of the newly rebranded MAVIN records, Solar Plexus has brought disappointment to many fans of the estranged Mo'Hits crew. The 13-track album on a gross assesment has scored 3 out of 13!!! Don Jazzy needs to relocate his bearing... Tiwa Savage is still seen as a plus to the record label.
